last week i wrote a song for a friend. it's fuzzy... and also quite hectic. it all came about in a very linear, start-to-finish kind of way, which is not how i usually work. then again, the method often changes from one track to the next.

it's been years since the last live set, but i'm working towards the next... as a way of deconstructing some of my work and presenting it in new forms - and creating some new work along the way. below is something that came about yesterday, while trying out some ideas. it's a combination of a short performance jammed out on an MPC, combined with a track from years ago... and then resampling all of this and turning it into something else. a tracky track, for the grinders; below is some of what i have been working on in the last two weeks; transmission 1... building this site as a place to show what i am working on, and what i have worked on. was getting tired of the way wastebook and soundcloud kept moving things around, or being a pain in the arse. so, here's a space where i have decision in how it appears. here's somewhere for me to share what im up to. DIY. there's a lot to be said for it. currently i am building a teleporter. it's of the dual-oscillator, analogue filter variety.  |
